AUDIO CLIPS AND DUCK LIPS
Do you believe in sleep ?
Apparently I don’t as I haven’t had any in the last 50 or so hours. Yes I know, everyone should get at least 8 hours of sleep but I thought that was within ones LIFETIME !
That’s just like the truck driver that stopped into a convenience store and said to the owner “I was here last night and you were closed, the sign outside says you are open 24 hours !”. The store owner looked at the truck driver and the sign and said “Not in a ROW !”.
Hours of audio editing last night has given us a couple of new audio clips ! I posted a few of those files on my website for everyone to listen to. The one audio file which is only about 20 seconds long I think is precious. One woman or female dispatcher (one or the other… told you I’ve been up too long) had an open microphone and was talking… but she didn’t know the Boogy was recording !
In another audio clip the guys in New Ken were having a blast. Hehe, haha… funny stuff guys. The last one I posted was of a New 10 Code Addition, yes.. made right on the air. Check them out !
When I post an audio clip on my website it is NOT altered except the “gaps” of dead air are removed. This is because the time it takes 911 to answer a Car calling might take up to 30 seconds or longer and if a license plate or drivers license number check is requested that might produce minutes of dead air = “bigga gap“.
I can alter the audio, in fact that is how I made the BAD BOYZ of WC Song. If you haven’t heard that yet just go my website or click HERE.
In fact for the HECK of it I took a small audio clip from today’s activities and ALTERED it. Take a LISTEN !

It is very hard to edit a piece of digital audio on my computer. If for instance I have a sixty minute section of audio and Car 5-11 or 4-2 said something funny, I have to pinpoint exactly where that section is on my hard drive and then highlight it with a marking pen. Then I take a pair of surgical scissors and carefully cut that section of the hard drive out and place it on my work desk. Then I have to carefully cut and paste the hard drive pieces that I want to be on the website together with Scotch Tape. When it is just perfect I laminate the whole thing and put it in the serial port of my computer for uploading.
The whole thing is pretty slick but takes about two hours. When I’m finished I buy another hard drive and start all over again !
Did I tell you that the birds on my planet are bright yellow and stand 4 foot tall ?
NEW STATIONS
Yes, LIGONIER AMBULANCE SERVICE is now on 800 Mega Hurtz just like the Booger said. See, you can ALWAYS DEPENDS on this Blah-g. I also heard Bolivar Fire Chief on the air.
Did you know that there is a complete list of ALL the fire stations that Westmoreland County Dispatches on my website ? Well there is. Just go to www.k3sam.com and click on Fire Stations. There are some stations that I never knew existed until the BIG disaster drill (when 911 put this 800 Mhz thingy on the air). Stations like STATION 158 which is the County Trench Rescue Team.
Hmm, if 911 keeps telling folks that this 800 Mhz System is working just fine THEY might have to call Station 158 !
UDDER STUFF
TGIF Tomorrow ! The ONE AND ONLY SCOTTY J. is coming up tonight for a visit. I am going to teach him how to set off fire sirens using only his toes, a broom, a peck of pepper, a can of Spam and a shifter knob from a '55 Chevy.
In return he is going to show me how he walks around his house on his hands while balancing two scanners on his feet.

AS I MENTIONED YESTERDAY, Ligonier Ambulance Service will be taking their patients lives and placing them in the hands of a new unproven and unreliable (in this blah-ers professional opinion) 800 MHz system today when they switch over at NooN !
The Medics at Ligonier Ambulance Service are top notch and well trained and I would trust THEM with my life, but HEY GUYS... don't count on your new radio system.. especially out in the Ligonier Valley Area.
So, with that said I just wanted to let you know that Greensburg City Police is back on the air this morning testing. Will they switch over at NooN also ? I have this feeling but it's probably that damn Moose Milk Gas again !
