THE BEST OF WESTMORELAND 911 AUDIO Vol. 1
Hello.
CRAP ! So sorry, but my hands are tired from typing and editing audio. You can only drag a mouse around so long until your wrist feels like it is in a rubber vise with pressure building, (cut / paste / cut / paste / delete / cut / paste /) OUCH and your arm ready to explode at any moment. Listening to audio clips over and over, getting the start / stop points just right until your ears ring with the sound of 10-4's !
Please note that in all the audio clips, nothing was altered. I could easily make a dispatcher say something he or she didn't say, you know... cut and paste stuff, however that was not done. I DID however cut out a lot of dead air. So, Station 92 might get dispatched and acknowledge the call 2 minutes later, but the audio .mp3 will sound as if they acknowledged immediately.
Well, even with my wrists hurting and my fingers bleeding, the BOOGER BLAH-G Will Go On, I’m just wondering who is going to write it today ? (help)
CALLS TODAY
We had a car into a house trailer, smoke investigation at the New Kensington Social Security Office, some elderly lady fell at a nursing home, and some kind of a farm fire in Derry Township with Derry Station 41 responding as Bradenville Station 71 did not have a driver. I have audio on the Derry Township Fire and New Ken SS Office Smoke Investigation should anyone need it. I will either archive it or delete it after about 30 days.

911 – VOLUME ONE !
It’s about 3 Minutes and 40 Seconds of the new 911 center audio and “ the GOOD calls “ that I’ve heard over the last few weeks ! You will need Windows Media Player or something to that effect to play it. Broadband connection isn’t really necessary however downloading will be a bit slow if you don't have it. Just about everyone has DSL or Cable Modem anymore. I have Cable and I paying out my asspercream.
HOW IT'S DONE
I’m still laughing at some of the audio clips. What I’ve done is record audio clips, then take the good clips, whether they be funny or serious, then paste the clips back to back. One second you might be hearing Washington Township Police Department “ 50 “ and the next minute you hear Derry Township Volunteer Fire Department 92. Back to back audio and it's all digital. The original is in stereo (one track is conventional scanning, the other is 800 digital). I cut out the conventional then convert the 800 Mhz stuff to mono.
Give a listen ! I would very much appreciate your feedback. Believe it or don’t but just to make that 3:40 minute .mp3 it took me the better part of 6 hours ! Now that is what I would call A BOOGER WITH TOO MUCH TIME ON HIS HANDS, and I’m referring to ME ! (help)

It was fun though. As an old time retired disc-jockey where we actually used 45 RPM records (and sometimes 33 RPM, but don’t tell anyone) to play music, I would sit for hours in the production studio with my tape cutter and splice songs and audio tracks to make them say what I wanted them to say… an early version of “cut and paste”.
BAD NEWS
I am so sorry that I have to bring you some bad news. Originally when this new 911 system came on line, there were two or more police officers that use to talk back and forth to each other. The things were not police related and it was more or less like a party line in the evenings. They were so funny to listen to that I decided to give them names.
The names I selected were those of my rats (hamsters), Frick and Frack. THE POLICE OFFICERS ARE FINE, however Frack, the Hamster, passed away yesterday afternoon at 1:13 PM. Cause of Death, Natural.
You may think that this is funny, the BOOGER BLAH-GER writing about a RAT, however he was part of the family and he is no more. Now there is only Frick. Honestly my other half (BOOGETTE) took it very hard !
