They don't listen to me... Geeesh !

Tis the season to contact your Government Officials
FA LA LA LA – LA LA LA LA
Beat their doors down with MY initials
B L A H G E R

Oh crap, if that doesn’t work just explain to them how this 800 Megga Radio Cyst-Em really Hurts and that if it stays in use more people will die. Is that good enough for an opening line ?

Here’s the skinny folks. Not only is this Blah-g being read by our fine First Responders, by the nice people at the Wastemoreland Country Defartment of Pubic Shafty and by our Wastemoreland Incompmissioners… I am now getting emails from readers from out of state inquiring about our Motoroldla Setup and how this Cyst-Em has and is Failing us.

I have answered all those emails and thanks for following our County and how the Commissioners and 911 Directors have SHAFTED our Police, EMS and Firemen with a piss poor EMERGENCY radio cyst-em.

To get you up to date with what I am doing, I have now heard back from Senator Bob Regola (letter available for those that want to read it). He is committed to our First Responders and believes that they should have nothing but the BEST in Communications.

He is very concerned about this radio system and how it has failed our county.

Senator Bob Regola will be sending out personal letters to those in our local Government demanding things be changed. I will be receiving copies of those letters.

IMO it would be wise for Commissioner Tom Balya to start listening to those in the know (ME and other radio engineers in the know) and those that use this crap HE has bestowed upon us.

I am really surprised that the other two Stooges haven’t come down on the third by now for bringing this cyst-em into our county.
<--- Commissioner T. Balya

There are still a few policemen out there that think the new radios are great. They have yet needed to call for backup or have the radio system FAIL them when they need it the most. Most are also part-time police officers. They just think it sounds "neat". But get into a DEAD SPOT and your radio might as well be a WET NOODLE !

Most firemen now understand the 800 Mhz shortcomings and are hoping for a better system.

I heard another horror story about a fire company that was having problems with one of their trucks as it would not start after sitting in it's bay inbetween fires.

They ended up taking it to Murray Electric (great place) and after testing the whole electrical system found out it was 800 Megga Hurts RADIO, and it was installed incorrectly by RADIO MAINTENANCE !

I still don't know how these guys got jobs installing radios. Well, one of them married into the family, I guess that makes you a
GOOD RADIO TECHNICIAN !

Someone sent me a photo of the original radio installation crew on their way to erect an antenna. I thought I'd share the photo with you.

In other news, a super secret map of new tower sites was mailed to me, see if you live near one of the sites shown below...

I'm still wondering how we got a tower site out in the BAY of RUM. I don't see any sites in PUSHOVER and nothing in ATISKET or ATASKET which will cause even more DEAD SPOTS in the long run ! The sites in RED don't work, the ones in BLUE are suppose to.

Oh, this found on a telephone handset...

SERIOUSLY !

3 things.

1 - The road crews and WC Building Maintenance were using their 800 Mhz radios the other day during the big snow storm and just watching my screen here I could tell that
vital POLICE and FIRE COMMUNICATIONS were being CUT OUT. I took a snap shot of my screen while the ROAD CREWS and MAINTENANCE were YAK YAK YAKKING away.

Everything in Orange is NON-EMERGENCY Crews using an EMERGENCY RADIO CYST-EM ! The more they YAK the less space emegency traffic has on the system.

You would have to talk to Rich or Mark about getting them off the system, as Rich and Mark do not listen to me.

2 - Also another screen shot...

As you can see, PARK MAINTENANCE Yaks all the time too, also a NON-EMERGENCY Service wasting space on an EMERGENCY RADIO CYST-EM !! Park Maintenance is shown in Light Yellow, right around District 5 Police attempting to conduct
EMERGENCY TYPE BUSINESS ! (if you look closely you will see TG 1 in use also - reserved for 911 to 911 or 911 to Radio Maintenance Communications)

You would have to talk to Rich or Mark about getting them off the system as Rich and Mark do not listen to me... (maybe if I say it a third time, ya think ?)

3- Again, I would like to THANK Sen. Bob Regola for all of his continued efforts in getting this RADIO CYST-EM FIXED !

Sen. Regola's office contacted Richard Matason, the 911 Director and Rich had the bells to tell the Senator that everything was ok, life is wonderful, the sky is blue and the radio system is PERFECT. HA HA, good one Rich ! Rich seems to think that putting up another antennae will fix the system, I'm laughing my ass off !

RICHARD MATASON ALSO CONFIRMED THAT THIS 800 Mhz SYSTEM HAS NO BACK UP SYSTEM, BUT WILL TRY TO GET SOMETHING TO DO THAT. WHAT ?

EVEN THE SENATOR WASN'T FOOLED.

The Senator's office will also be contacting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Federal Emegency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA).

THIS IS GOOD !!

Have a great day and Merry Christmas to all !

DECODED,
K3SAM
