Good Afternoodle Gentlepeoples.

Lots going on, so much that this feels very much like an executive job with a major company requiring this boogers services 16 hours a day and being on call the other 8 hours !

I’m not complaining mind you, just letting the general public know that if I happen to be a little late responding to an email or make a mistake (no, that will never happenn) with my website or blah-g, don’t get your bills in an uproar.

BILL

Speaking of Bill… Bill is one of the 911 Dispatchers and he handles District 5 Police in the evenings. First of all, I think Bill is an excellent dispatcher with a great sense of humor, much like my own. Second, you remember that Frick and Frack were from District 5 (those clowns as they are) and I reported heavily on them prior to their officially going on line with the 800 Mhz system. They taught me a lot about life, McDonalds and the how not to speed in Washington Township.

Now we get to Thirdly… you put together Officers of the Law that have a great sense of humor with a Dispatcher who also has a great sense of humor you get a COMEDY TEAM ! These guys have me laughing silly at night. With comments like “I am so glad you are dispatching tonight, all things are better now” and “I have a disturbance call, which one of you clowns want it”. Those aren’t quotes but rather (not Dan Rather, please !) paraphrasing.

This Booger has what is called “boogies”. If something is done properly or in good taste those involved get a “Good Boogy” award. On the other hand if the job was half-assed and / or done in poor taste then those involved get “Bad Boogy” awards. Today I would like to give Bill and the guys in District 5 Police (especially car 5-12, Vandergrift Police) a few good boogies ! Thanks for the laughs !


THE NAME

Ok, the name Boogy is not in any dictionary that I know of. Really ! Boogie is and Booger (gross actually) is but not boogy.

How this got started is another Blogger and Scanner Listener Understanding Talkgroups named “GMAN” contacted me and started to call me the BLOGGER, then BOGGER, then the first G got changed to an O somehow and he now calls me the BOOGER (and I’m not dried up nasal junk).

So with that in mind what else can a Booger give out but Boogies or a Boogy ? So grow up and have some cookies and milk, it’s just a name. Like the guy in “the NERDS” movie, Booger was his name, oh.

I think you have just about all the info and a good intro to what I’m doing. OH, what I’m doing is keeping up on this 200 Million Dollar Radio System to make sure my TAX DOLLARS are at work ! My thoughts then get spilled into the ‘puter and a BLAH-G appears.

ENOUGH for kidding around for right now, plenty of time for that. It's 5:00 AM and I had a ton of things to do tonight to get this BLAH-G off and running ! No sleep, no food, no water, no winters in Vermont...
