I GOT A FEELING !
It's 10:20 AM on Monday the 1st, hmmm the 1st.
I got this feeling that today might be the day for District 3 Police to join the ever growing list of people that are having problems on 800 Mhz.
Either that or I have a bad case of gas from all this Moose Milk !
911 usually makes change-overs on the 1st and 15th of each month when they do it and I'm looking at my PRO96COM screen and I see NEW activity on District 3 police.
D3 consists of:
Greensburg City Police
SW Greensburg PD
South Greensburg
and
Seton Hill (unknown if still active)
Be listening at noon as that is when most change overs occur.
DECODED,
K3SAM

Monday Munchies
Good Morning to all.
Just a few updates for the morning start. Last night and early this AM cars again were calling 911 and receiving a much delayed response.
You know, this can't keep on keeping on. When a Police Car, Fire Truck or Ambulance calls 911 they should be answered within a reasonable period of time. 30 seconds and longer (sometimes not at all) is NOT acceptable !
I have yet to hear an excuse from anyone in Management at the Westmoreland County Pennsylvania Center yet.
As long as this continues I will blah-g about it !
Another thing that I noticed. The state police have been on the OLD local Police Frequencies and I have heard them calling County Radio.
County Radio NEVER ANSWERS !
In Sunday's Blah-g I posted what 911 calls their Q&A section on this new 800 Mhz system. Within that little piece of fiction they say that the old frequencies will be monitored until at least sometime in 2006 ? This isn't 2006 yet.
What is happening at the Emergency Center, do they need to call Allegheny County 911 for help ?
On and on, blah blah blah-ger will keep both eyes on this never ending story of the Mega Hurtz. I hope the next chapter will be better than these last few.
Also, yesterday was the first part of what I call "911 UNPLUGED". This is not the second in the series. You will know when that happens.
Scotty J. told me Sunday to lighten up a bit and make the BLAH-G funny again... so HERE is my dramatic ending...
Two drunks sitting a bar:
Drunk 1: Anyone who was part of deciding to put this 800 Mhz system in at Westmoreland County 911 is a Blundering Moose Milker.
Drunk 2: I take offense to that remark.
Drunk 1: Why, were you one of those that decided to put in this 800 Mhz system at the new 911 Center ?
Drunk 2: No, I'm a Blundering Moose Milker !
Breakfast:
Two Twangs of Fern Fungus Boiled until the Fungus Floats, a Slice of Canned Bread with Bitter Butter, and a Moose Egg. For a change the Moose Milk has been replaced with a glass of Filtered Puppy Bath Broth. Seconds available.
While they last… STICKY BUNS !!
