NOTHING HAS CHANGED, IT'S STILL BROKEN

I’m sorry, if you live in the Greensburg, Scottdale, Mt. Pleasant, Rostraver, N. Belle Vernon, West Newton and Sutersville Borough areas then you are about to witness the same hell that those of us that are already on the new 800 Mhz Radio System are aware of and experiencing daily.

Most of your police officers and firemen will soon face the same frustration of those that are already on this system. I can hear it now the day Greensburg City Police switch over to this 800 Mhz system.

Greensburg has no idea how good of a radio system they already have in place. I know, I use to work on it the few times they called me.

Here is a glimpse of what you might or might not be hearing:

3-3: 3-3 to 3-18
dead air
3-3: 3-3 to 3-18 !
40 sec. go by
3-3: 3-3 to 3-18, do you copy ?
3-18: Is someone calling this unit ?

the whole time 3-3 is in the city and 3-18 is only a few blocks away. To this system distance isn’t a factor. Five Feet or Fifty Miles, if you are within the county the radios are SUPPOSE to work.

or how about:

3-5: 3-5 Radio, in ___suit of a __90’s _____ Truck on 66
10 sec. go by
3-5: 3-5 Radio, did ___ copy ?
911: 3-5, you were garbled, was that you?
3-5: 3-5 Radio, this unit ____ is _____ of _______
10 sec. go by
911: You’ll have to repeat that last transmission

no further transmissions as 3-5’s car radio is no longer connected to the wrecked police car and the officer is out hurt on a foot pursuit with a portable that doesn’t work and no back up.

Perhaps car 3-5 should be carrying a Blackberry Cell Phone with Nextel Service like Management at the 911 Center Carry. After all, they want to be able to talk back and forth, right.

Things like this are happening (in example) to those currently on the new system. So to the new police and fire departments who think they are about to get their feet wet, you better put on more than rubbers.

I have to be honest with you, beside the above I have nothing new to add. I have a ton of audio clips to edit, and I can’t do those while I’m typing.

I don’t normally share my personal life here because this 911 system is so important. Whether this system works or not is (not could) the difference between people living and dying. You know, the good old life and death thing.

Well, this Westmoreland County Department of Public Safety 800 Mhz Radio Communications System is not working right.. so I guess that places us somewhere between life and death. Damn, the stuff I know that I am not writing about … puts us closer to death.

Commissioner Balya doesn’t care, so should we ?

So, as I was saying… my personal life. I just want to say that a family member of mine is in the hospital with Cancer and things are not looking too good.

It is hard for this Blah-ger at the moment keeping up with the Blah-g everyday, but with all the filth and lies that Westmoreland County 911 is telling everyone someone has to do it. So, please be tolerant.

If you don’t see a current Blah-g listed, go back and read some of the past issues, they are all still current as 911 hasn’t FIXED a DAMN THING YET.

With that, please report all of your tips to
news@k3sam.com and hopefully we can do WHATEVER it takes to get these Management people off their damn asses and get down to putting in a system that will work in Westmoreland County, PERIOD.

DECODED,
K3SAM
