UPDATES
Good Afternoodles Ladies and Genitals !
I hope this afternoon finds you well and in good spirits. If you were on Route 30 westbound today you had a long wait while a woman was extricated from a 2 vehicle accident, MedStar had to be flown in for transport. Again and fortunately the radio system held up and all activity was on TG 212 (Fire TAC 4).
The Booger Blah-ger Reports have fallen behind, but not because the Boogy has been sleeping !
In the past few days I have received more information about the 911 system and operations that keeping up is almost impossible. I need 2 secretaries and 4 assistant Boogies to keep up, and I don't have them.
Inside information from 911 Management, Police and Fire Chiefs, firefighters and patrolman alike, dispatchers and radio maintenance personnel are all sending me information. Emails just pouring in... they all get answered and I'm attempting to keep track of all the information.
Within the last 12 hours I've been in contact with one Police Chief and one Fire Chief. In the last 36 hours two Police Chiefs, one Fire Chief, one Officer, 2 Dispatchers and someone from Radio Maintenace.
This is a 24/7 job now and sometimes I find myself, hands on keyboard and sound asleep. No pay for this Blah-ger BUT if this Blah-g SAVES ONE LIFE then it's worth it.
A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT is my call to the Westmoreland County Commissioners ! I spoke to the Westmoreland County Commissioners Chief of Staff Ted Kopus on Thursday of last week and he had said he would call me back shortly.
I thought I would receive a call back by now.. but nothing. OH FLASHBACK, my brain hurts and I'm growing a tower from the center of my head... wasn't Mark Brammell called and I was promised a call back too ?
Hmmm, conspiracy ?
I swear to you, the BOOGER BLAH-GER READER that I will find out what's going on and things will happen ! The Blah-g is already responsible for some changes that have been made at 911 itself and on the equipment side too, but still it is not enough. The firefighters and police officers are NOT SAFE YET, and that is my worry.
I will also attempt to please Scotty J. who misses my humor. I'll have to throw up, some humor into this thing to make it pleasable so that my other faithful warped mined readers won't turn away.
Have to remember though that I'm one ball short of a full count and one fry short of a Happy Meal ! BUT, I know my electroincs man !
I'll keep this up until everyone is safe out there or until Scotty J. eats all of his dinner... which follows:
