Just the Thoughts Man(ager)
The title says it all...
Sitting here on a Monday morning I am editing tapes, doing a ton of paper work and these weird thoughts are popping up in my head so I thought I had better jog them down before they blow up into the unknown black hole that resides somewhere between my left ear and right eye.

Thought 1: Westmoreland County 911 did a DIRTY trick to me and those reading this BLAH-G. Not only did they put District 6 Police on line (like I posted) but they added District 7 as a boneass. So, for your info District 7 Police ARE ON.
District 7 Incudes:
Monessen Police
Belle Vernon (Fayette Co.)
Donora (Washington Co.)
Maybe more, you tell me !
I don't have as much information about those districts as I do for District 4 (my area) and District 5 where Frick and Frack are still alive and well. Anyone that can give me car numbers (or take me a car, would love to ride around in one of those neat Monessen PD Cars !) like 6-35 and so forth, that would be very appreciated. I can’t ask the dispatchers and supervisors for everything you know as they can only do so much for me without getting caught !
GMan has sent me some info but I have had a chance to go over everything as of yet.

Thought 2: I'm not the jackass that I've been called (perhaps close) however in reviewing these audio clips from September 15 there are just as many, if not more times when 911 had problems hearing the police and fire units out in the field. Multiple 10-9's and I can't hear yous !!
Remember, that's the day District 6 and 7 PD came on line with 911 with their 800 Mhz toys.
The audio will be posted as that is what I am working on... la de da. In fact they ARE posted so go listen, download and have fun. As Moe would say, it's there you knucklehead !
It’s just a shame that I can't post the whole 24 hours straight on the web but it takes up too much hard drive space on my remote server. Maybe next time something like this happens GMan can record it all and have a “flash back” day and let everyone hear. GMan has the capability to stream all the long file stuff. I’m just a little pee-on jackass.

Thought C: I got ALL Flusterbucked at the fact that 911 Management GOT NEW BLACKBERRY cell phones ! They didn't need them, they already had cell phones... well perhaps as an upgrade they might have gone for the BLACKBERRY however WE shouldn't have to pay for the damn things ! RIGHT !
So anyhow I WENT OUT AND GOT ME A NEW PHONE TOO. I didn't need it but I didn't want to feel left out !!!! The Boogerette got one too.
The difference between ours and 911 Management is that WE PAID FOR OURS, YOU paid for theirs ! ( CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW ?... I guess not, they are Nextel.. beep ! )
Sorry, even though I'm trying to keep up with the Management Jones I CANNOT BUY a brand new Super Duper County Bought Heavy Duty Vehicle Blooper.
I'm just going to have to settle for my Piece of Shitcar while the 911 Management drives around in brand new county purchased vehicles...
BUTT, I have a NEW PHONE !
HEY, wait a damn minute !
If WE, the residents of Westmoreland County purchased these new vehicles for 911 management to drive back and forth to work in and go to Wally World, Steeler Games, BEAUTY SALONS, etc..., then shouldn't we get the INVOICE for those vehicles ?
I would like to see what kind of options we put in Dan's new $85,000 vehicle ! Same with the odder managers vehicles !! Let's see 'em folks... wise guys you !

Thought 8: Three Stooges are on Channel 41 (Spike TV) at 9 AM every morning... gotta love em !
If you want to see what happens during a normal 911 shift, turn in to the Spike Channel and watch the Stooge’s ! Moe, Larry.. the Perks, Moe Larry the Perks... wobb wobb wobb !

CD WINNER FOR SEPTEMBER 2005 FOR THE TIP OF THE MONTH !!
As you know the Blah-ger gets a google of tips every month on this 911 Radidioe System, you know, the one that doesn’t work so very well… Well on the 17 of each month a name is a pulled out of a hat from slips of paper with everyone’s name and tip on it.
It happened. THE WINNER OF THIS MONTHS CD GOES TO AN EMPLOYEE OF THE WESTMORELAND COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, a.k.a. 911 Emergency Center. Go Figure That !!
In these cases I’m sure this employee does NOT wish to be identified which is fine and might even possibly decline the CD, which is also fine, however I can give this person the CD personally the next time I see them or make other arrangements to hand it to them.
Where there is a Will there is a dead person.
CONGRATULATIONS MR. ANONYMOUS !!

Thought 11: Oh me, oh my… wanted: Audio Engineer for hire. Must be fluent in the operation of a computer (911 Management need not apply) and have experience with REB software. Must know how to beat cut, slice and trim digital audio information. Operation and Twisting of the Upper Peaks without DeAmplifing the Low Peaks is a must. Inversion is also a plus. Spelling and a good knowledge of the numbering system is also a plus.
Pay ranges from slightly above what I pay myself to a lot more than I pay myself.

Go STEELERS ! That Ben Casey sure looked good yesterday. I was waiting for Lynn Swan to catch another field goal however the greens were too wet. I loved the way Cower broke his bat at half time but someone should tell him that he is not allowed out on the ice during the game without the proper uniform on !
I’m not sure on the final score but it was close to 45 – Love.

That all, nothing new to report that you don’t already know about. How about those letters to your Commissioners ? Did you get yours off yet ? If so how about sending me a copy of it… if nothing more than just to read it. I’ll post it if requested.
