If I am so wrong about this system being the wrong one for this county and it's terrain then someone please speak to the officers that were on duty in Police District 9 this morning (7 Oct 05) between 04:09 AM and 04:22 AM when 911 could NOT hear New Kensington Car 9-12 HOWEVER each and every one of the other officers could hear him just fine. AND SO COULD I !
The incident lasted for approximately THIRTEEN minutes and had it been an emergency situation, someone could have lost their lives.
When 911 can’t hear a PERFECTLY STRONG STATION then there are CRITICAL LIFE AND DEATH PROBLEMS with our radio system which I have been saying all along !
I don’t care what people think of me but for the Sake of LIFE Itself get that DAMN SYSTEM OUT OF THERE and REPLACE IT WITH SOMETHING THAT WORKS ! This system makes a JOKE out of Modern Electronics, SHAME ON MOTOROLA !!
