the Project...

Good Afternoon !

I appreciate all the comments and feel free to keep them coming.

At this point everyone should know that this Blah-g is set up to improve communications in Westmoreland County and if the county isn’t going to move from 800 Mhz then more towers are going to be needed.

It is all about DEAD SPOTS.

I have, along with a group of other people undertaken a small project dealing with this radio system that will pull me away from writing about each and every time the system fails due to the poor coverage, however I will still report about the bigger items as they filter in through emails from my inside contacts. Keep your tips and comments coming in at
news@k3sam.com.

This project might be the most single important item that has come out of writing this Blah-g and I have high hopes of it’s success.

You will also find new audio clips posted from time to time as I continue to edit.

The end goal still remains a working communication system for this county without DEAD SPOTS, much like any described by the Department of Homeland Security.

Westmoreland County cannot afford to lose one Firefighter, EMT or Police Officer due to poor communications. These first responders are the backbone to our county and each and every one of them should be respected for the jobs that they do.

If we all lived in OHIO where most of the state is made up of flat lands we might have only needed 2 or 4 towers to provide full coverage on 800 Mhz, a few extra 800 MHz frequencies as 10 is not enough and everything would be fine… and there never would have been a Blah-g as everything would have been hunky-dory with no DEAD SPOTS.

This isn’t OHIO and this is the Blah-g.

DECODED,
K3SAM
