ALERT
Blah-ger Alert !
The Westmoreland County 800 Mhz Radio System is having MAJOR problems today.
5-11's radio was shutting down on him, 911 receiving data from portables that are not really sending anything, Ambulance 201 not hearing 911, and many other DOCUMENTED problems - this is SERIOUS !!
If you are going on duty today for any shift with any service, I am advising you to test your radios (mobile and portable) several times an hour.
Just simply call 911 and request a radio check.
I'm not sure if towers are cycling up and down, like computers rebooting or 911 is having console software / hardware problems BUT the problem IS there !
Be careful out there !!
DECODED,
K3SAM
